Founded in 2008, BanyanTree Finance Private Limited ("BTF") is an advisor to BanyanTree Capital Advisors Limited, the Investment Manager of BanyanTree Growth Capital I & II, Mauritius-based private equity funds. Also, BTF is the Investment Manager of BanyanTree India Growth Capital Fund.

With ~$300 million raised, the 3 funds invest in growth capital for significant minority stakes and, in select cases, undertake control transactions, targeting underserved niches and geographies. The Funds are committed to driving positive developmental outcomes through a strong focus on ESG principles and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Funds' investor base includes some of the world’s largest development finance institutions, sovereign wealth funds, fund-of-funds, development funds and insurance companies.
